Description

The Spool Performance Upgraded Front Mount Heat Exchanger is specifically engineered for the Mercedes-Benz C63 and C63S AMG models equipped with the 4.0L V8 bi-turbo M177 engine. This vehicle utilizes a water-to-air cooling system for its charge air pressure, where the effectiveness is directly tied to the temperature of the coolant circulating through the intercooler. This upgraded heat exchanger features a competition racing core that dramatically increases coolant capacity. The front heat exchanger's volume is increased by 56%, from 7430 cm³ to 13250 cm³. The auxiliary side heat exchanger also sees a significant boost, with its volume increasing by 54%, from 1620 cm³ to 3000 cm³. Constructed with CNC machined fittings, this heat exchanger ensures a perfect, leak-free fitment every time. The units are coated with a heat-conductive, anti-corrosion finish to ensure a lasting and effective cooling performance.
