Upgraded Heat Exchanger for BMW G8X M2/M3/M4 S58

The CTS Turbo Upgraded Heat Exchanger is a high-performance charge air cooler upgrade specifically engineered for the 2021+ BMW G8X M2, M3, and M4 models equipped with the S58 engine. This component is crucial for maintaining optimal engine temperatures by keeping Intake Air Temperatures (IAT) as low as possible, which is a significant contributor to cleaner ignition and increased power output. Featuring a dual-pass, high-efficiency core measuring 633mm x 458mm x 40mm, this heat exchanger significantly reduces charge air temperatures. It is constructed from 100% TIG welded aluminum and pressure tested to 50psi to ensure durability and longevity. The heat-dissipating black finish aids in thermal management, while the optimized fin pitch and high-density core maximize heat dissipation. It also includes upper and lower rock guards for protection against road debris. The benefits of this upgraded heat exchanger include improved engine longevity by preventing heat soak, and noticeable gains in horsepower and torque due to more efficient combustion, especially when the S58 platform is running higher boost levels. It ensures consistent performance for both street and track use, providing reliability under extreme driving conditions. This heat exchanger replaces OE numbers 17-11-8-095-283 and 17118095283. Fitment includes 2021+ BMW G80 M3 (incl. Competition), 2021+ BMW G82/G83 M4 (incl. Competition), 2022+ BMW G81 M3 (incl. Competition), and 2022+ BMW G87 M2 (incl. Competition). Vehicles with automatic transmissions will not utilize the lower rock guard, but a small spacer is included for installing the transmission cooler on the left side of the vehicle using the factory screw.
