Upper and Lower A-Arms

The BMR Suspension AA033 Upper and Lower A-arms are critical suspension components that link the wheels to the chassis. By eliminating deflection, these A-arms significantly improve steering feel and response in both normal and performance driving scenarios. Constructed from robust 1.25-inch, 0.095-inch wall DOM tubing with laser-cut, CNC-formed plate steel braces, they offer enhanced strength and durability. These A-arms feature CNC-machined, nickel-plated, dual-offset cross-shafts with heavy-duty stainless bushing retainers. They come pre-assembled with polyurethane bump stops and include new upper ball joints. The greasable, 95-durometer bushings provide a solid, more responsive feel than stock rubber bushings, while their internal fluting ensures efficient lubrication for quiet, reliable operation. The compact design also allows for additional header clearance, accommodating larger primary tubes for high-horsepower builds. Designed for a blend of performance and comfort, the AA033 is suitable for street performance, drag racing, handling, and pro-touring applications. The upper A-arms are engineered to add 2 degrees of positive caster, and when combined with the lower A-arms, provide a total of 4 additional degrees of positive caster. This allows for up to 6 degrees of total positive caster, leading to improved geometry, increased lateral grip during cornering, and enhanced high-speed stability. The revised cross-shaft geometry and shortened overall length of the upper arms also reduce the need for shims when setting up aggressive alignments on lowered vehicles. Available in black hammertone and red powdercoat finishes, these non-adjustable A-arms are proudly made in the U.S.A. Installation time is estimated at 4-5 hours. A control arm hardware kit (RH006) is also available and highly recommended. These A-arms are designed for 1964-1972 GM A-Body vehicles.
