Overview

The Global West CTA-32A is a replacement upper control arm designed for 1993-2002 Camaro V8 models and Firebird applications.

These control arms are built to enhance vehicle handling, offering improvements such as additional caster and Del-a-lum bushings. They have been tested on autocross and road race cars to improve straight-line stability and corner entry, while also helping to maintain better alignment. The control arms are constructed from 1-1/4 DOM tubing and are jig welded using Mig and Tig processes. They feature Del-a-lum bushings at the pivot points, lubricated by a grease fitting, for smooth and quiet operation. Standard ball joints are used for serviceability, and the arms are powder coated black and shipped assembled with new alignment specifications included.

The Global West CTA-32A upper control arm is a direct replacement designed to enhance the performance and handling of 1993-2002 Camaro and Firebird models equipped with V8 engines. They feature an increased caster angle and utilize Global West's proprietary Del-a-lum bushings at the pivot points. These bushings, lubricated via a convenient grease fitting, ensure smooth, quiet operation and contribute to improved straight-line stability, enhanced corner entry, and the ability to maintain a more precise alignment. The CTA-32A is constructed from durable 1-1/4 inch DOM tubing, with welds performed using both Mig and Tig processes for maximum strength and integrity. The arms come fully assembled with standard, easily serviceable ball joints and are finished with a durable black powder coating. Installation is simplified by the pre-assembled nature of the kit, which also includes new alignment specifications to guide the setup process.
