Show original supplier description

The BDS Suspension Upper Control Arm Kit is engineered to upgrade the stock OE upper control arms on your 2006-2026 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD, specifically for leveled and lifted applications. These performance arms are built from robust 1.5-inch OD x .120-wall steel tubing, offering superior strength and durability. A key feature is the indexed ball joint cup, which corrects ball joint positioning to allow for increased wheel travel in lifted scenarios. Designed for compatibility with BDS 6-inch lift kits and various other lift and leveling kits available, these UCAs ensure enhanced performance. The frame mounting ends are equipped with durometer-specific rubber bushings that provide long-lasting, maintenance-free operation. The control arms come fully assembled and ready for installation. Important fitment notes: This kit contains only the upper control arms, intended to address ball joint range of motion issues common in Ram 1500 trucks when used with spacer kits. It will not work with stock rims if a tire wider than 12.50 inches is installed, as the tire will rub the UCA at full steering lock. If reinstalling stock rims, they must be used with stock-sized tires only. This kit is for 4WD applications and covers a lift height range of 4 to 6 inches. Note: This product is subject to California's Proposition 65 warning regarding potential cancer and reproductive harm.
