Upper Control Arm Kit

The Global West MNR-733 is an upgraded upper control arm kit engineered for 1967-1973 Ford Mustangs and Cougars, as well as other compatible Ford and Mercury vehicles like the Falcon, Torino, Granada, Maverick, Montego, and Comet. By repositioning the upper ball joint towards the rear of the car, these arms provide 3 degrees of built-in positive caster, which is crucial for improving straight-line stability, enhancing the self-centering action of the front suspension, sharpening initial turn-in during cornering, and counteracting road crown-induced pulling. These Plus 3 upper control arms come pre-assembled with billet cross shafts, Del-a-lum bushings, and ball joints. The control arms are finished in a durable black powder coat, while the cross shafts feature a blue zinc (silver) plating. Manufactured in Global West's own facility in San Bernardino, CA, these components are built for quality and longevity. The design eliminates the need to excessively pull the lower control arm forward, a common limitation when seeking more caster on stock suspension setups, especially when fitting larger wheels and tires. It is important to note that when using the Plus 3 arms, there is a specific right and left control arm, unlike original equipment or previous Global West Negative Roll control arms which were universal.
