Upper Control Arm Set

The BDS Suspension BDS121260 is a performance upgrade for the upper control arms (UCAs) on 2019-2026 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 models, designed to increase wheel travel. These arms are built for leveled and lifted applications using high-strength 1.5-inch OD x .120-wall steel tubing and feature an indexed ball joint cup for corrected ball joint positioning. The tubular construction enhances strength over stock components. Installation is estimated at 2-3 hours and typically adds 1-2 degrees of caster above stock alignment specifications. These BDS upper control arms are compatible with BDS lift kits, most 2-inch leveling kits, and 4-inch and 6-inch BDS kits. They are also suitable for 4-inch Trail Boss or AT4 kits. However, they are not compatible with Denali models equipped with Active Ride Control (use BDS121255 for Denali models with a 6-inch lift). For optimal tire clearance with 2-3.5-inch kits, a maximum wheel backspacing of 5.5 inches is recommended; 4-6-inch BDS kits can be used with a factory wheel (6.25-inch backspacing). The ball joint used is part number 500-1105, which is directional and must be installed with the 'dot' facing inward or outward to prevent damage. The arms are fully assembled and ready for installation out of the box.
