Upper Control Arms

The Total Chaos 81500 Upper Control Arm Kit is engineered to enhance the off-road performance and durability of your 2009-2023 Dodge or Ram 1500 2WD and 4x4. These UCA's are crafted from 4130 chromoly tubing and are designed to add caster, which results in better straight-line tracking, improved high-speed stability, and enhanced cornering. They allow for up to 1" of additional wheel travel when paired with extended coilover shocks and are designed to maintain factory alignment specifications on vehicles with 1.5"-3" lift kits. The kit features 1" I.D. heat-treated stainless steel uniballs with a military-grade PTFE woven fabric liner for corrosion resistance and reduced maintenance. CNC tapered spindle adapters are included to convert the factory ball joint to a 1" uniball for straightforward installation. Additional features include custom-profile hi-misalignment spacers machined from 17-4 stainless steel for maximum strength, urethane bushings to reduce deflection, and zerk fittings for easy greasing of bushings and inner sleeves. The arms undergo a 3-stage powder coat process for a durable finish, and a complete Grade 8 hardware kit is supplied. The product is handcrafted in the U.S.A. An alignment is required after installation. Important fitment note: This kit will not fit 2019 model year Ram 1500 trucks due to design changes. The original equipment factory Ram 1500 Upper Control Arm ball-joint cannot be serviced independently and requires replacement of the entire arm when worn. This Total Chaos kit allows for easy Uni-ball replacement should wear become an issue, making it a serviceable and robust upgrade for off-road use or complementing suspension modifications like coilovers or leveling kits.
