Upper Coolant Housing

The K-Tuned Upper Coolant Housing is engineered to provide advantages over stock units for K20Z3 and most K24 engine applications. Its key feature is a hose outlet that pivots slightly, offering about 15 degrees of angle adjustment. This adjustability is beneficial for routing the upper radiator hose, often preventing conflicts with intake piping found with fixed factory outlets. This housing provides flexibility with multiple outlet choices. It includes a standard 1.25" outlet for regular rubber or silicone radiator hoses. For more advanced setups, optional 12AN or 16AN fittings are available, compatible with upgraded hose and fitting systems from K-Tuned. Additionally, an optional Filler Neck can be integrated to move the radiator cap to the highest point in the cooling system. This promotes efficient air pocket escape during coolant bleeding, a known challenge for some K-series engines. Installation notes indicate potential fitment issues with Jackson Racing Superchargers and certain turbo setups, depending on turbo and manifold size. Crucially, this housing will NOT work with K24Z-series and K24Y-series engines, nor with K24A1 heads. The radiator cap is not included with this housing.
