The SPELAB Upper Fuel Filter Upgrade Kit addresses a known failure point in Ford 6.7L Powerstroke engines (2011-2025) by replacing the factory plastic upper fuel filter housing. This OEM component becomes brittle over time due to engine heat cycles, leading to hairline cracks, fuel leaks, and broken return connectors. Constructed from high-grade billet aluminum, this kit offers a robust and durable solution. It features a high-flow internal design capable of supporting increased fuel demands, making it suitable for both stock trucks and modified builds. The kit converts the factory cartridge system to a standard spin-on filter, simplifying maintenance and reducing long-term costs, as generic spin-on filters are widely available. An integrated 1/8" NPT/ORB port allows for the easy installation of a fuel pressure sensor or gauge, providing enhanced diagnostic capabilities. Additionally, the kit includes durable metal return connectors to replace the fragile factory plastic fittings, further enhancing reliability.
