The Gates 22960 Premium Molded Coolant Hose is engineered to meet OEM-quality specifications for coolant applications, including upper, lower, bypass, and heater hoses. Its construction features an EPDM tube for durability and resistance to heat, ozone, and chemical coolants, reinforced with synthetic fiber knit. Meeting SAE 20R4, class D2 and DIN 73411, class A requirements, this hose is pre-shaped for a perfect fit, simplifying installation and ensuring sealed conditions. It operates effectively within a temperature range of -40 Deg. F to +257 Deg. F (-40 Deg. C to +125 Deg. C). This specific Gates 22960 upper radiator coolant hose is designed for the 2004-2009 Toyota Prius. Gates recommends replacing hose clamps with each new coolant hose installation for optimal performance and longevity.
