Description

USA Standard Transfer Case NP261 Front Case Half. This is a chain-driven, manually shifted 4WD transfer case. It comes with either a 27 or 32 spline input and has a narrow input bearing. The low gear ratio is 2.72 to 1. The unit has 2 high, 4 high, neutral, and 4 low settings. Some heavy-duty (HD) and extreme heavy-duty (XHD) versions exist with wider chains, sprockets, and HD planetary components. The case is made of magnesium.
