Featuring two 6.5-inch woofers with woven fiber paper cones and butyl rubber surrounds, paired with two 1-inch silk diaphragm tweeters, the EXL-SQ6.5CX delivers exceptional sound clarity and a deep bass response. The woofer's steel basket and ferrite magnet, along with the tweeter's neodymium magnet, contribute to robust performance. This component set boasts a maximum power handling of 500 watts and an RMS power handling of 150 watts, with a nominal impedance of 4 ohms. The system's frequency response spans from 45Hz to 20kHz, with a recommended high-pass crossover of 40Hz. The EXL-SQ6.5CX includes passive crossovers with a crossover point of 3kHz, offering tweeter attenuation adjustments (0/-3/-6 dB) and PTC tweeter protection. Grills are also included for a finished look. The mounting depth for the woofers is 2.44 inches, and the cut-out diameter is 5.62 inches.
