The Pioneer TS-A301S4 12-inch component subwoofer is engineered to provide high-output bass performance for automotive sound systems. Evolved from Pioneer's award-winning SPL Champion Edition lineup, this subwoofer utilizes an advanced two-piece honeycomb IMPP composite cone structure, paired with a rigid drive cone to ensure durability and reduced distortion at high volume levels. Technical specifications include a 4-ohm single voice coil design, a 92 dB sensitivity rating, and a 1,600-watt peak power capacity (500 watts RMS). The motor assembly features a large 90 oz double-stack magnet, which enhances overall efficiency and sensitivity for a more responsive low-end. The basket is reinforced to withstand high pressure and reduce mechanical vibration. Installation requires a mounting depth of 6.125 inches (156 mm) and a cut-out diameter of 11.125 inches.
