The AudioControl SPK-10S4 is a 10-inch subwoofer engineered to deliver powerful and precise bass for an immersive listening experience. Part of AudioControl's Spike Series, this subwoofer is built for versatility and durability, offering robust performance for any music genre. Its high excursion design allows for significant cone movement, enabling it to move more air for higher sound pressure levels and increased volume capability. Constructed with a fiber matrix paper cone featuring a mica coating, the SPK-10S4 ensures a balance of stiffness and responsiveness. It boasts a 3-layer high-temperature voice coil former designed to handle substantial power, alongside a dual damping system for linear bass reproduction and a dual dust cap system to control enclosure compression. The efficient, heavy-duty motor design contributes to its powerful output. Key specifications include an impedance of 2 or 4 Ohms, a power handling of 500W RMS (700W Max), and a frequency response of 20-200 Hz. The voice coil diameter is 2.5 inches, with a displacement of 0.0626 cu ft. The subwoofer also includes a removable grille.
