The JVC CS-DR6931 DRVN DR Series speakers are 6x9-inch, 3-way coaxial units designed as a direct factory replacement, offering enhanced audio performance. They boast a Carbon Mica cone material for responsive sound and a Hybrid Surround made of Rubber Coated Cloth, which allows for increased mobility and better follow-up to audio signals. The shallow-mount construction increases installation flexibility in a wider variety of vehicles. These speakers are engineered for powerful sound output, with each unit capable of handling 500 watts of peak power and 70 watts RMS. The pair can handle a total of 1000 watts peak and 140 watts RMS. They feature a 1-1/2-inch PEI Balanced Dome tweeter with a Neodymium magnet for detailed high-frequency reproduction, and a 10 oz. Ferrite magnet for the woofer. Further enhancing their sound quality and durability, the CS-DR6931 incorporates a small-design tweeter cover to minimize interference with the woofer cone, ensuring clear sound. The speaker grilles feature a wider opening ratio, contributing to increased durability and clearer sound output. With a frequency response ranging from 58 Hz to 21,000 Hz and a sensitivity of 88 dB, these 4-ohm speakers are designed to reproduce a wide range of audio frequencies accurately.
