The Kenwood KFC-X135 eXcelon Series speaker is engineered to deliver accurate sound signals and a rich vocal presence. Its woofer cone is constructed from Injection PP (Polypropylene) for enhanced rigidity, ensuring precise diaphragm movement and improved sound reproduction. This design allows the 1" soft dome tweeter to widen the sound stage and minimize interference, contributing to clear and detailed audio, especially in the mid-bass and vocal frequencies. With a 5-1/4" (130mm) woofer size and a 1" (25mm) tweeter, these speakers are designed to fit into various vehicle locations. They boast a peak power handling of 160W and an RMS power of 40W, operating at a 4Ω impedance. The sensitivity is rated at 86 dB/W at 1m, indicating good volume output with moderate power. The frequency response spans from 71Hz to 21kHz, covering a broad range of audible sound. Installation is facilitated by a mounting depth of 2-3/8", which is compatible with many factory speaker locations. The speakers come with necessary accessories for mounting, including grilles, screws, speed nuts, speaker cords, and adhesive tape.
