The Kenwood XR-W1202 is a 12-inch eXcelon oversized subwoofer engineered to provide robust and dynamic bass output for car audio systems. This subwoofer boasts an impressive 2000 watts of peak power handling and 400 watts of RMS power, coupled with a wide frequency response range of 33Hz to 300Hz and a 2-ohm impedance, making it suitable for a variety of amplifier setups. Built with Kenwood's eXcelon philosophy, the XR-W1202 features an oversized PP cone for increased low-frequency output and a reinforced design with ribbing to minimize distortion and enhance cone strength. The subwoofer includes a dual ventilation system to effectively dissipate heat, a stress-free spider for improved mechanical and thermal durability, and a strong magnetic circuit with a large ferrite magnet for reproducing deep bass notes. The construction is further supported by a steel black basket and rubber magnet cover. Developed with rigorous testing, including anechoic chambers and advanced simulation tools, Kenwood eXcelon speakers aim for expected performance and long-term reliability.
