The Kicker Solo-Baric L7S 12-inch subwoofer (model 44L7S124) is engineered for high-power handling and exceptional sound quality, delivering clean bass. Its distinctive square cone utilizes an injection-molded SoloKon design with 360-degree constant-contact back bracing, providing targeted strength for reliable performance and accurate audio response. Construction details include a cast aluminum basket, a large ceramic magnet, and UniPlate back plate with perimeter venting for superior thermal management. The subwoofer is equipped with dual four-ohm voice coils and a ribbed Santoprene surround with distinctive blue stitching. It also features thick tinsel leads and satin-nickel plated, spring-loaded speaker terminals for secure connections. The Kicker 44L7S124 is recommended for use with a sealed or ported enclosure and is optimized for 750 watts of RMS power handling, with a peak power rating of 1500 watts per ANSI/CTA-2031-A. Minimum recommended sealed enclosure volume is 1.25 cubic feet (35.4 liters), and the maximum is 2.0 cubic feet (56.64 liters). For ported enclosures, the minimum is 1.75 cubic feet (49.6 liters), and the maximum is 3.25 cubic feet (92.1 liters).
