The Alpine S2-W10D4 is a next-generation 10" S-Series subwoofer engineered to deliver powerful and reliable bass performance at an approachable price point. Constructed with a lightweight yet sturdy combination of carbon fiber and polypropylene, the cone provides deep, low-distortion bass that enriches your music's depth and richness. It features Alpine's High Amplitude Multi-Roll (H.A.M.R.) Surround Technology, a rubber surround that allows the cone to efficiently move air while remaining cool, enabling 15mm of one-way excursion for incredible accuracy. The subwoofer boasts a power handling of 600W RMS and 1800W peak, with a frequency response of 25Hz - 215Hz and a sensitivity of 84.9dB (1W/1m), ensuring powerful and accurate bass reproduction across various music genres. Installation is made easier with dual voice coils (DVC) and configuration jumpers. The subwoofer also incorporates a new twist-lock grille mounting system, allowing for easy installation and removal of an optional grille without screws, providing added cone protection. For optimal sound quality, Alpine recommends matching these subwoofers with their power-matched S-Series amplifiers, such as the S2-A60M mono amplifier for a single subwoofer or the S2-A120M for a dual-subwoofer setup.
