Overview

The Vortech V-2 Si-Trim Supercharger Kit is a polished finish supercharger system designed for 1994-1995 5.0L Mustang GT and Cobra models. This kit increases horsepower from 215 to 319 and torque from 285 to 370 ft-lb at the flywheel with 6-8 lbs. of boost.

It features a gear-driven supercharger with SQ technology for quiet operation and reliability, advanced impeller and housing design, and includes a high-flow fuel pump and FMU for fuel management. The system also comes with an MSD ignition system, oil feed and drain assemblies for optimal supercharger lubrication, and heat-resistant silicone sleeves with stainless steel clamps for duct connections. An OEM-type cast aluminum mounting bracket ensures a factory-installed appearance and rigidity, while a high-flow bypass valve ensures surge-free compressor operation.

The Vortech V-2 Si-Trim Supercharger Kit is a complete, polished finish system engineered to significantly enhance the performance of 1994-1995 5.0L Ford Mustang GT and Cobra models. This kit is designed to boost the factory output of 215 horsepower and 285 ft-lb of torque to an impressive 319 horsepower and 370 ft-lb of torque at the flywheel, operating with 6-8 lbs. of boost. Key features include Vortech's gear-driven supercharger with SQ technology, which provides nearly silent operation and exceptional reliability. The impeller and housing design have been technologically advanced and optimized in Vortech's dedicated supercharger test cell for high efficiency. Fuel management is upgraded with a high-flow fuel pump and an Fuel Management Unit (FMU), and the kit is complete with an MSD ignition system. For superior supercharger longevity, oil feed and oil drain assemblies ensure optimal lubrication and cooling, even under demanding, sustained boost conditions. The system utilizes heat-resistant silicon sleeves and premium stainless steel clamps for all inlet and discharge duct connections. A rigid, OEM-type cast aluminum mounting bracket provides a factory-installed look and feel, while the integrated high-flow bypass valve guarantees surge-free compressor operation.
