V-Band Blow-Off Valve, 1.98-Inch

This unit is recognized as the highest flowing blow-off valve on the market, suitable for both turbo-charged and super-charged applications, including those with Paxton and Vortec systems. The body and all internal components are precision CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum alloy, featuring a substantial 1.98-inch (50.5mm) valve. Construction details include a V-Band design aluminum mounting clamp with stainless steel hardware for durability and corrosion resistance. The valve seal is secured by a clamped Viton O-ring to prevent sticking or pulling away from the seat. For enhanced longevity and smooth operation, the valve stem and guide are Teflon-lubricated and hard anodize-coated. The actuator is equipped with a high-temperature silicone Nomex-reinforced diaphragm, and it includes a machined aluminum banjo-type air fitting with an oversized 10mm hose barb for rapid actuator response. An aluminum or mild steel weld base mounting flange is supplied with each unit, with stainless steel available as an upgrade. The use of 6061 aluminum allows for housing to be anodized in various colors, including Silver, Red, Blue, Purple, and Black. Through extensive research and development, TiAL has achieved a flow rate that is an impressive 60% greater than the original design, allowing for significantly more air to be blown off per cycle. Included with every TiAL Q BOV are the Q BOV Assembly, TiAL V-Band Clamp, V-Band Weld Flange, High Pressure O-Ring, and TiAL Air Fitting. This blow-off valve is capable of supporting up to 1,800hp and is offered with various springs for different vacuum levels, including a specific -2psi spring for supercharged applications.
