Description

This 135mm clamp utilizes a V-band style, which pulls two rimmed flanges together to create a robust, evenly distributed, and easily serviceable connection. This clamp is critical for preventing exhaust leaks between the turbocharger's compressor housing and the downpipe. While generally reusable if in good condition, it is recommended for replacement if the clamping bolt's threads are excessively corroded, or if the clamp has sustained damage or significant force during removal. Factors like heat cycles, rust, external impact, or metal fatigue can necessitate replacement.
