V-Band Wastegate

Constructed from fully CNC-machined 6061 aluminum alloy, this BOV features a substantial 1.98-inch (50.5mm) valve, capable of supporting up to 1,800hp and achieving a mass flow rate of 31 LB/MIN. The unit is designed for a pressure range of 2-12 PSI. TiAL Sport emphasizes durability and performance with the Q BOV. Its valve stem and guide are treated with a rigorously tested anodizing process to minimize wear on mating components. The valve seal employs a Viton O-ring, clamped to prevent sticking, and the actuator utilizes a high-temperature silicone, Nomex-reinforced diaphragm for extended life. The V-Band design aluminum mounting clamp ensures a secure and aesthetically pleasing installation, complemented by corrosion-resistant stainless steel hardware. Each unit includes a machined aluminum weld base mounting flange. Through extensive research and development, TiAL has achieved a 60% increase in airflow compared to previous designs, making the Q BOV one of the highest-flowing on the market. It offers various anodized aluminum color options, including Silver, Red, Blue, Purple, and Black, allowing for customization. The product is proudly Made in the USA.
