The V-Force 3 Reed Valve System by Moto Tassinari is engineered to replace the stock reed valve on the Suzuki RM125, a popular two-stroke motorcycle. The core innovation of the VForce3 system lies in its unique design, which effectively doubles the reed tip surface area. This allows the reed petals to open and close with half the travel distance compared to conventional systems, achieving the same airflow. This reduced petal travel results in a greater likelihood of full petal opening and a more effective seal when closed, contributing to overall engine performance. Furthermore, the decreased petal movement leads to less wear, potentially extending the lifespan of the reed petals. The VForce3 system features a snap-together cage that utilizes symmetrical reed petals, simplifying maintenance by eliminating the need for distinct inner and outer replacement petals. This construction, often incorporating carbon fiber, contributes to its durability and performance characteristics.
