The VIS Racing V Line hood is a lightweight carbon fiber replacement designed specifically for the 1995-1999 Subaru Legacy 4-door. Manufactured using a two-part construction process, it combines a carbon fiber top layer with a fused, smooth underside shell to improve structural integrity. Each piece is finished with a UV-protective polyurethane coating to provide a high-gloss aesthetic. Since 2014, these hoods have utilized a Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.), which results in a component that is 10-20% lighter than traditional manufacturing methods while increasing overall durability. Installation requires the use of hood pins due to the nature of the product. These parts are intended strictly for off-road use unless otherwise permitted by local and state laws. Each hood includes a badge of authenticity to ensure product quality.
