The VIS Racing Carbon Fiber V Line Style Hood is engineered to upgrade the aesthetics and performance of your Subaru Forester 4DR (2014-2018). Constructed from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber, this hood utilizes a two-part design enhanced by the Vacuum Infusion Process (VIP). This advanced manufacturing technique results in parts that are 10-20% lighter than previous iterations while maintaining exceptional durability. The top layer is bonded with high-grade epoxy resin and finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating, providing a high-gloss finish that resists yellowing. The hood features a smooth, one-piece underside shell fused to the top layer, reinforcing its structural integrity. Hand-finished edges ensure a quality appearance all around. While this hood offers a significant weight reduction and an aggressive look, it is important to note that hood pins are required for optimal safety and performance. Additionally, owners should avoid reusing stock hood struts, shocks, dampers, or springs, as these may cause the hood to crack.
