V-Maxx Track Stage 2 Coil-over and Sway Bar Kit

The Flyin' Miata V-Maxx XXtreme Stage 2 Track Pack suspension kit is engineered to enhance the handling of NB chassis Miatas, making it suitable for both track use and spirited street driving. The V-Maxx coilovers are distinguished by their dual-spring system. The front utilizes a 504 lb/in primary spring and a 112 lb/in secondary spring, while the rear features a 336 lb/in primary spring and the same 112 lb/in secondary spring. This setup helps maintain suspension travel even at full droop, offering a wider adjustment range for ride height and corner balancing. The rear shocks have a shorter body by 1/2 inch, providing additional compression travel for enhanced ride and handling, particularly at lower ride heights. The sway bars, constructed from hot-formed 4140 CrMo spring steel, include brackets and urethane bushings and offer adjustable settings for fine-tuning handling balance. This kit is specifically designed for 1999-2005 Mazda Miata NB models, including the MSM variants. Note that the V-Maxx shocks have a shorter body compared to other Miata shocks, which may render them incompatible with certain aftermarket upper shock mounts. It is recommended to replace the factory shock shaft bushings, as they may be aged. While the kit includes most necessary components, it does not come with upper shock mount parts, which can be reused from the stock setup. The Track spring rates are optimized for track performance, resulting in a firm ride that may be stiff for some street-only applications. For those seeking a softer setup more suited for street use, the kit is also available with Sport spring rates. Early Miata models may benefit from chassis reinforcement to fully leverage these spring rates.
