The VIS Racing V Spec carbon fiber hood is an aftermarket replacement part designed for 2016-2021 Honda Civic models. It features a two-part construction with a Grade-A carbon fiber top layer and a smooth, one-piece underside shell to enhance structural integrity.

The VIS Racing V Spec carbon fiber hood provides a lightweight, durable replacement for your 2016-2021 Honda Civic. It is manufactured using a vacuum infusion process (V.I.P.) which reduces the weight of the hood by 10-20% compared to traditional construction methods, while simultaneously increasing overall durability. Constructed with Grade-A carbon fiber, this hood features a high-gloss finish protected by an ultra-clear, UV-resistant polyurethane coating. The assembly consists of a high-grade epoxy-bonded top layer fused to a solid, smooth underside shell. For proper installation, hood pins are required for all applications. Do not reuse the stock hood struts, dampers, or springs, as these may cause the carbon fiber to crack. These products are intended for off-road use only unless otherwise specified by local or state regulations.
