V-SPEED Carbon Fiber Hood

The VIS Racing V-SPEED carbon fiber hood is a performance-oriented replacement designed for 2004-2012 Mazda RX-8 2-door models. It is constructed from Grade-A carbon fiber material using the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.), which utilizes a single-mold vacuum to create parts that are 10-20% lighter than traditional methods while maintaining durability. The hood features a high-grade epoxy resin top layer with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating for a lasting high-gloss finish. Installation requires professional assistance, as components may require sanding, shaving, cutting, or filling to achieve proper fitment. Due to the nature of the product, hood pins are required for safe operation. All products are intended for off-road or show use only. Customers should perform a test fit of all parts prior to any modification or paint work. Upon delivery, the product must be inspected immediately for concealed damage while still in the original packaging. If any damage is discovered, it must be noted on the delivery bill as "damaged" before signing, or insurance claims may be denied. These hoods do not qualify for bundled shipping and must be shipped separately.
