The Cybul V02 roll cage is a safety structure engineered for the Mazda MX-5, designed for drift, trackday, and motorsport applications. It enhances the vehicle's body rigidity and offers improved occupant protection in case of accidents or rollovers. The cage is precisely designed using 3D CAD modeling and 3D interior vehicle scanning to ensure that individual tubes follow the bodywork closely, maximizing headroom and maintaining driver visibility, especially when fitted under a hardtop roof. Constructed from CDS steel tubes, the main hoop measures 45 × 2.5 mm, while other tubes are 40 × 2 mm, designed to meet FIA Appendix J requirements. The manufacturing process utilizes CNC machining and 3D laser cutting and notching for maximum precision and ease of assembly, with each tube laser-engraved for clear identification according to the assembly drawing. Reinforcements and strengthening plates are included to further increase rigidity. The package includes all necessary laser-cut and marked tubes, reinforcements, a welding practice piece, a complete mounting hardware kit, and a printed assembly manual. While designed for precise fitment according to specific MX-5 models (NA/NB), customers are advised that the dimensions may not comply with appendix J requirements, and they should verify compliance with event regulations.
