The Mountune V1 Camshaft Set is engineered to enhance the performance of Ford 1.6L EcoBoost engines, specifically complementing the stock turbocharger on the Fiesta ST. Mountune leverages over 35 years of camshaft engineering experience to deliver a profile that increases torque and power across a broad RPM range, with a power band from 1800 to 6500 rpm. Each camshaft is meticulously ground from new blanks using a BERCO LYNX 2000 CNC grinder by their technical partner, Piper Cams, ensuring professional standards and durability. Special attention is paid to de-burring and lobe edges to protect camshaft followers from premature wear. This V1 profile features significantly increased intake and exhaust valve lift and duration compared to stock (Intake Lift: 8.3mm vs. OE 7.59mm; Exhaust Lift: 6.57mm vs. OE 6.19mm; Intake Duration: 240° vs. OE 228°; Exhaust Duration: 224° vs. OE 212°). It is important to note that this part is designed and intended for off-highway application only. Installation on a vehicle driven on public roads may violate U.S. and Canadian laws and regulations concerning emissions and motor vehicle safety standards.
