V2 Front Drift Angle Lock Kit for BMW E36

The Wisefab WF360 is a V2 front drift angle lock kit engineered for BMW E36 and E36M models. This comprehensive kit enhances steering geometry, allowing for precise adjustments to the ackermann angle via the knuckle add-on and caster angle adjustments from the top mount. These features enable convenient tuning of steering geometry, including positive to parallel ackermann, even trackside without requiring a full alignment, thus saving valuable track time. Key benefits include a higher roll center, which lifts the front roll center on lowered cars to provide greater roll stiffness and potentially allow for the removal of the front anti-roll bar for maximum steering lock. The revised steering geometry is optimized for drifting, correcting the loss of speed and grip that can occur with standard setups at high steering angles. It offers good camber control, minimizing positive camber on the leading wheel during extreme angles to reduce front grip loss and maintain a stable contact patch. Further enhancing performance, the kit provides steering jacking control by monitoring and optimizing geometry to prevent handling issues at larger steering angles. It also ensures predictable self-alignment control, minimizing the tendency for the steering wheel to lock up at extreme angles. The kit includes lightweight lower control arms with an adjustable rear mount, adjustable coilover upper mounts compliant with Formula Drift specifications, hub add-ons with ackermann adjustment hardware, and assembled tie rods. Installation considerations include the need for sufficient clearance with existing coilovers. It is recommended to use tire diameters not exceeding 645mm (235/40 R18) and wider fenders or fender flares are necessary. Please note that this kit does not fit with M3 knuckles.
