The Aerofabb V2 Rear Spoiler Extension is meticulously crafted for the Volkswagen MK7/MK7.5 GTI, Golf R, and GTD, offering a more aggressive profile than its predecessor. It is important to note that this product DOES NOT fit the standard Golf TSI or TDI models. Constructed from a thick, durable High Impact Plastic (ACM - Aluminum Composite Panels), the V2 Spoiler Extension boasts a high-gloss black finish. It is designed and CNC machined in-house, ensuring superior quality and precision. The extension utilizes the same mounting locations as previous versions and is 1" taller at the corners and .25" taller in the center compared to the original release. It features a double-sided chamfer on the trailing edge and a recessed pocket for countersunk finishing washers, providing a clean aesthetic. The kit includes the V2 Rear Spoiler Extension, black anodized countersunk finishing hardware, and 3M VHB mounting tape with an adhesion promoter pen. Detailed instructions are provided. The extension mounts to the underside of the factory spoiler and includes a precise third brake light contour relief. It fits model years 2015-2021 for GTI and 2015-2020 for Golf R and GTD.
