The trunnions also include a self-oiling axle for priority feeding.

The Brian Tooley Racing V2 Rocker Trunnion Kit (TK002) offers a significant upgrade for LS engine valvetrains, enhancing durability and performance. This V2 kit improves upon the original design by incorporating trunnions with pre-installed inner race bearings. These bearings are constructed from high-strength 52100 heat-treated bearing steel, providing superior durability compared to the 8620 carburized steel found in many OEM applications and the V1 kits. In addition to the robust bearing material, the V2 trunnions feature a self-oiling axle designed for priority feeding directly to the trunnion, ensuring consistent lubrication and reducing wear. The kit includes all necessary components for installation, such as rocker trunnions, inner races, grip ring clips, bearings, retainers, and assembly washers. A critical fitment note for early style LS1/LS6 valve covers is that the trunnion shaft may interfere with the passenger side valve cover baffle. Owners of these early engines will need to either clearance the baffles or switch to later style valve covers to ensure proper fitment. The kit is compatible with LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6, L99, LS4, LQ4, LQ9, L76, L92, LR4, LM7, L59, LM4, L33, L98, L77, LY6, LFA, LZ1, LY2, L20, LMF, LH6, LY5, LMG, LC9, LH8, LS4 engines, covering displacements from 4.8L to 6.2L.
