The Rough Country V2 Steering Stabilizer is engineered to eliminate bump steer, front-end shimmy, and steering vibration, providing a smoother and more predictable ride. Its T6061 brushed aluminum body with black anodized accents not only offers a striking appearance but also dissipates heat efficiently. The internal 46mm high-flow piston ensures durability for countless years of use. Installation is designed to be a straightforward bolt-on process with an estimated time of 1-2 hours. However, it requires drilling and a minimum 2-inch suspension lift; it does NOT fit stock height models. This stabilizer is specifically designed for 2003-2013 Ram 2500 models and 2003-2012 Ram 3500 models, all of which must be 4WD. By absorbing impacts and reducing feedback through the steering wheel, this stabilizer enhances control and stability, especially in lifted applications. It also plays a crucial role in protecting the steering system by lessening wear and tear on tie rods and ball joints, which can extend the lifespan of these critical components.
