The Aerofab V2 Street Edition Front Wind Splitter is meticulously handcrafted to fit the Volkswagen MK7 GTI models from 2015-2017. This is not a universal part, ensuring accurate and specific fitment for improved performance. It incorporates Aerofab's proprietary aerobrace™ reinforcement brace, which is crucial for distributing load and boosting rigidity, especially under high negative lift conditions or during harsh weather. This integrated reinforcement system prevents common failure points found in other splitters that rely solely on the splash tray for mounting. Installation is designed to be hassle-free, utilizing pre-existing holes on the factory MK7 GTI front bumper for quick and accurate alignment. The splitter comes with pre-drilled mounting and alignment holes, along with stainless hardware and mounting spacers. It is speed-tested to over 140 mph and features a chamfered edge profile for a clean look and ridged performance. The design is CNC machined in-house and includes a recessed pocket for the factory-installed logo badge.
