The Canadian Auto Performance V3 Intake is a high-performance air intake system engineered for the 3.0T Supercharged V6 engine. It features a substantial 4-inch (102mm) intake tube, a market-leading 7-inch performance air filter providing 53% more surface area than competitors, and the world's first dual methanol injection bungs for enhanced cooling and fueling flexibility. Precision-engineered using 3D scans of the engine bay, the V3 Intake ensures an optimized fit within the C7/C7.5 chassis. It incorporates a molded heat shield with weather stripping to effectively block engine heat and guide fresh air to the filter. The design also includes a billet SAI filter bracket and reuses OEM rubber grommets, ensuring a factory-quality installation free from rattles. The intake amplifies the supercharger whine, delivering an aggressive sound under load, and features CAPFlowMax technology for superior filtration and engine protection. Dyno testing indicates gains of up to +15 HP and +18 lb-ft of torque, with improvements felt across the entire RPM range. Maintenance involves periodic cleaning and re-oiling of the reusable air filter. The CAP V3 Intake is backed by a Lifetime Warranty, though the air filter itself is considered a wear-and-tear item and is not covered. This intake is compatible with upgraded throttle bodies that retain the OEM throttle body location. If an upgraded throttle body does not use the OEM location, this intake will not be compatible. Additionally, a 3.5” to 4” coupler will be required for use with upgraded throttle bodies.
