V3 Adjustable Short Shifter Assembly

The Hybrid Racing Adjustable Short Shifter Assembly V3 is a performance-oriented upgrade designed to enhance the driving experience for 2006-2011 Honda Civic MT, Si, and Type-R FN2 models. This assembly features a robust construction utilizing TIG welded, powder coated 1000 Series steel for the frame, complemented by anodized billet aluminum upper and lower rocker assemblies. Custom sealed ball bearings are integrated to minimize friction, contributing to a smoother operation. Key to its performance is the highly adjustable shift throw. The assembly allows for independent adjustment of both left/right and front/back throw reduction. For 2006-2008 Honda Civic Si models, front/back throw can be reduced from 20% to 52%, and left/right throw from 17% to 53%. For 2009-2011 Honda Civic Si models, front/back throw reduction ranges from 17% to 48%, with left/right throw reduction from 10% to 51%. Additionally, the shifter offers 1.5 inches of height adjustability, allowing drivers to fine-tune their preferred driving position. Internally, the V3 assembly replaces the OEM torsion centering spring with dual, zinc-plated extension springs, promoting better centering action and a more direct, engaging feel when shifting gears. The pivot points utilize wear-resistant Delrin pivot caps for quiet and secure operation. This shifter is designed to work with both OEM 8th Gen Civic cables and Hybrid Racing's performance cables, fitting both the R18 (base model) and K20 (Si) platforms. Base bushings are not required, simplifying installation and eliminating the need for separate purchases.
