Description

The RV6 V3 Long-Tube J-Pipe is engineered to replace the restrictive OE J-pipe and third catalytic converter in the 2004-2008 Acura TL and TL-S models. Developed over years of research and community feedback, this J-pipe features an equal-length, long-tube design aimed at maximizing runner length and enhancing usable power gains. Constructed entirely from Stainless 304 material and meticulously TIG welded, the V3 J-pipe boasts 2.25" primaries and a 2.5" outlet. The installation process is straightforward, requiring no cutting or welding for a direct fit. Dyno tests conducted on an unmodified 2005 automatic base TL with 55,000 miles indicated a peak gain of 13 WHP and 7 WTQ. RV6 notes that higher gains can be expected with manual transmission base models and TL-S variants. The kit includes all necessary hardware for installation, such as bolt sets, flanged lock nuts, and exhaust gaskets.
