The Sprint Booster V3 is a performance converter designed to eliminate delayed throttle response in modern vehicles with Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) systems. Modern vehicles utilize Electronic Control Modules (ECMs) to manage throttle response via Electronic Throttle Control (ETC), often referred to as "Drive-By-Wire." This system can introduce a noticeable delay between pedal input and actual acceleration, particularly during quick gear changes, merging into traffic, overtaking, or starting on inclines. The Sprint Booster V3 Power Converter directly addresses this issue by eliminating the ETC's lag. It enhances throttle response, providing instant acceleration when the driver demands it. The device offers selectable modes, including Off, Sport, and Racing, with 36 distinct acceleration programs available (18 for manual and 18 for automatic transmissions). Additional features include a pedal lock mode and a valet mode. The Sprint Booster V3 is noted for its ultra-compact size and new design. It is awarded "Best New Product" at SEMA. This model is specifically intended for VW Golf and Jetta MK5 and MK6 vehicles from 2005 onwards, compatible with both manual and automatic/DSG transmissions. While the product is application-specific, Emnotek notes "No Fitment Data" and advises buyers to verify fitment manually.
