V3 Street Series 1-Liter Air/Oil Separator

The IAG Performance V3 Street Series Air/Oil Separator (AOS) is a crucial upgrade for Subaru engines, offering unparalleled protection against oil entering the intake tract. Oil in the intake can lead to premature mechanical issues, deterioration of hoses, and potential engine damage such as detonation, power loss, and reduced fuel efficiency. This AOS system prevents such problems by separating oil from the PCV gasses before they reach the intake. Featuring a 1-liter cast aluminum swirl pot canister, the IAG AOS significantly improves oil separation. Its lightweight yet durable aluminum housing incorporates an intelligent baffle design for enhanced ventilation. Unlike traditional catch cans, this system requires no routine draining or maintenance; separated oil gradually drains back into the engine's crankcase. An integrated heating system, connected to the vehicle's cooling system, prevents condensation and sludge buildup by maintaining the AOS canister at engine temperature. The AOS utilizes a unique baffle system to create an internal gas vortex, trapping oil as it filters through. The OEM PCV system remains functional, allowing for additional vacuum to remove PCV gasses. The construction is refined for weight reduction, beneficial for racing applications. Installation is simplified with custom-length SAE Quick Connection lines and pre-cut hoses, ensuring a secure and leak-resistant fit. The IAG AOS is available in neon yellow and aims for a polished, factory-like appearance. Specific features include a 360-degree rotating breather port, dual breather ports, and an approximate 1-liter holding capacity. This Air/Oil Separator is designed for 2002-2007 Subaru Impreza WRX, 2004-2007 STI, and 2004-2008 Forester XT models. It is noted as Not Compatible with most Strut Tower Bars.
