The AEM V3 Water/Methanol Injection Controller Kit offers a straightforward and economical method to boost the performance and reliability of your forced induction engine. This system functions by injecting water or methanol as a fine mist into the intake, which then vaporizes to dramatically lower air charge temperatures. Beyond performance gains, this kit enhances engine reliability by suppressing knock and reducing exhaust gas temperatures (EGT). The water vaporization process also acts as a "steam cleaner," helping to remove carbon deposits from the engine. The system is designed to be used with pure demineralized water or a mixture of water and methanol up to a 50% concentration; using higher concentrations of methanol is not recommended due to its flammability. This V3 kit features a new injector design for faster cooling and reduced fluid consumption. Key components include a boost-dependent control unit capable of handling up to 1.5 bar of boost, a robust high-pressure water pump, a forged aluminum injector with three nozzle options, a 4.3L anti-surge tank with a level probe, and a 2.5 bar absolute MAP sensor. All necessary fitting accessories and hardware are included for installation. The kit is manufactured in the United States.
