V3 Water/Methanol Standard Controller Kit

The AEM V3 Water/Methanol Standard Controller Kit is engineered to optimize charge air cooling and detonation control for high compression naturally aspirated and forced induction gas engines. This kit includes the controller and wiring harness, featuring a boost-dependent flow control strategy for more linear output delivery that better matches the engine's need for water/methanol injection. The controller boasts robust, easy-to-use design with large, turn-resistant knobs and numbering for precise setting of start and full activation points. It includes covered status LED and test buttons for enhanced splash resistance. The housing features a molded-in, barbed nipple for connecting a boost hose and a clear wiring legend on the back. For simplified installation, the wiring harness is terminated with a positive-lock connector and color-coded wires. It also includes an integrated pump ground circuit to prevent accidental activation and an additional wire for an optional on/off solenoid to control fluid flow. The "Boost Safe" injection failsafe system is retained, providing an output that activates during a short, loss of continuity, or high/low voltage or fluid condition. This allows users to implement custom failsafe strategies, such as flashing a warning light, pulling boost or ignition, or switching fuel maps on a standalone engine management system. This controller is legal for sale or use on Emissions Controlled Vehicles, Uncontrolled Vehicles, and Racing Use Only Vehicles as it does not affect vehicle emissions.
