V3 Wire-In Engine Control Unit

The VEMS V3 Wire-in ECU is a highly capable engine management system designed to provide precise control for a wide range of engines, from small to large builds. It features sequential control for up to 8 banks of injectors and integrated transistorized coil igniters that can support up to 8 coils, configurable for various ignition setups including single coils, wasted spark, and Coil-On-Plug (COP) systems. Key functionalities include a built-in wideband O2 controller, supporting Bosch LSU4 sensors, and the ability to monitor up to two Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) sensors. For turbocharged applications, it offers advanced features like anti-lag and boost control. The ECU is built around an advanced microprocessor and surface-mounted component technology, ensuring state-of-the-art electronics for optimal engine management. Customization is a core aspect of the VEMS V3, with configurable drivers for lights, relays, and solenoids. It provides 6 low-current drivers for essential functions and 8 high-current solenoid drivers that can manage fuel injectors, variable cam timing systems (like VANOS, VTEC, VVT), idle air controllers, nitrous solenoids, and boost controllers. The software is field-upgradable, and the unit features datalogging capabilities via a serial connection or an optional SD card interface. The VEMS V3 is designed to work with nearly any standard OEM sensor for throttle position, coolant temperature, air temperature, and crank/cam sensors, with configurable support for various OEM trigger patterns (e.g., Ford 36-1, GM/Bosch 60-2, Audi 5 cylinder 135 tooth). It also includes options for integrated or external manifold pressure sensors and external fuel/exhaust pressure sensors.
