The GKTECH V5 Tension Rods are a performance upgrade for your vehicle's caster adjustment. These tension rods, also known as caster arms, allow you to adjust the vehicle's castor to bring the wheels forward and improve steering response.

They are manufactured from 4130 chromoly sheet with billet CNC machined ends and CNC machined adjusters, ensuring durability and precision.

The GKTECH V5 Tension Rods are designed to significantly enhance your vehicle's steering dynamics by allowing for precise caster adjustment. These components, also referred to as caster arms, enable you to move the wheels forward, which sharpens turn-in response and accelerates the wheel's return to the straight position when released. Constructed from robust 4130 chromoly sheet with billet CNC machined ends and CNC machined adjusters, these V5 arms are built for longevity and performance. This substitution eliminates unwanted flex, resulting in a more direct, predictable, and connected feel from the steering system. The V5 arms have been CAD designed, FEA tested, and feature CNC machined ends with TIG welding for superior quality and strength. Additionally, they include offset bushing spacers to maximize clearance, offering a total of 56mm of extra wheel clearance, which translates to approximately 9 degrees of additional wheel adjustment. Installation is straightforward, requiring no modifications and taking approximately 30 minutes for those with general mechanical knowledge. However, due to their nature as suspension components, professional installation is recommended. A wheel alignment is advised after installation, even if the arm length is matched to OEM specifications. GKTECH offers a lifetime warranty on suspension arms against manufacturing defects and a 1-year warranty on the heim joints, with readily available spare parts.
