V8 Throttle Body System

The Borla V8 Kit is a sophisticated fuel injection system designed to emulate the classic "Weber look" of the 1960s and 70s while providing modern performance and reliability. This kit is specifically engineered for Chevy 350 engines, offering a significant upgrade over traditional carburation. It eliminates the complexities of multi-carburetor setups by integrating essential components like idle air control, PCV accommodation, and a MAP sensor into a common plenum manifold. At its core, the system features modern fuel injectors discreetly housed within the throttle bodies, each equipped with a throttle position sensor and actuated by precision-calibrated linkage. This design ensures precise fuel delivery and throttle response. Borla offers customization options, including various finishes like standard or custom colors of paint, powder coat, or Cerakote, as well as polishing and anodizing for individual components to create a unique aesthetic. All systems are produced and assembled to order by skilled technicians at Borla's facility in Johnson City, TN. Options for half-height (25mm) airhorns are available upon request to reduce vertical clearance. Additionally, special linkage for TV cable attachment can be requested when ordering, which is necessary if using an automatic transmission such as a 700R4. It is important to note that this kit is currently not available for Vortec cylinder heads.
