Description

The deck unit for the V9 vertical windlass is the visible part of the windlass on the boat's deck. The headstock or capstan is used to facilitate the lifting of the chain and anchor. This model is specifically designed for larger boats over 50m. It features a chain outlet oriented for chain exit from the left side of the boat into the chain well on the left. Made entirely of stainless steel for corrosion resistance and low maintenance. It does not include a sprocket, geared motor, relay, switch, or circuit breaker, which can be added separately.
