The Mobil Vactra Oil No. 2 is a premium way lubricant specifically formulated for precision machine tools. This high-performance lubrication is widely recognized for its ability to eliminate stick slip in machine tool slideways, ensuring consistently accurate machining operations. This way oil offers excellent rust and corrosion protection, safeguarding valuable equipment over the long term. Key specifications include an ISO Viscosity Grade of 68, a kinematic viscosity of 68 cSt at 40°C (ASTM D445), a flash point of 228°C (ASTM D92), and a pour point of -18°C (ASTM D97). The product is also noted for its aqueous coolant separability, contributing to a cleaner operating environment. Mobil Vactra Oil No. 2 is recommended for horizontal slideways on small to medium-sized machine tools.
