Valve Body Repair Kit

The TransGo SK 722.6-A is a comprehensive valve body repair kit engineered for 1996 and newer Mercedes, Dodge, Chrysler, Sprinter, Jaguar, Porsche, and Jeep vehicles equipped with the 722.6, W5A-330, W5A-580, or NAG1 automatic transmission. It corrects and prevents common operational failures including flare 2-3 shifts, soft shifts, insufficient line pressure, TCC slip or shudder, and shudder on hard acceleration from a stop. The kit also helps address specific fault codes such as 053, P0740, and P0741. Key components include a drop-in USA-made hardened pressure regulator valve with longer lands to utilize unworn areas of the valve bore, three new overlap valve bushings, and a complete lube pressure regulator valve system comprising a bushing, valve, spring, and sleeve. It also includes replacement springs for the 2-3 shift pressure and control pressure regulator valves, which are known to be prone to breakage. Installation of this kit does not require transmission removal. However, please note that this product does not fit V8, high-performance, or turbocharged high-output vehicle models. The repair kit restores the hydraulic integrity of the transmission circuit, providing improved pressure control and smoother shifting without the need for a full transmission overhaul. It serves as a durable solution for restoring factory-level function to worn valve bodies by working within existing bore conditions.
